Our exhibit, 3 Photographers at 915, had some very nice press and drew a nice group of patrons to the reception!

Thanks to Tru Luv’s for providing the wonderful watermelon gazpacho soup and to the Dutch Candy Company on Caroline street for allowing us the use of giant awesome gummy bears to display with the work of photographer Thomas Parinello.

The show will be exhibited through September 1st.

The Gallery at 915 owner Alan Howard was an honorary Chef helping to prepare the huge omelet!

The Gallery at 915 was honored to host participants of this year’s Sister City festivities for a reception on July 14th. 

Over 100 guests attended the 915 reception before heading downtown for the Bastille Ball in Market Square.

 Frejus, France and Fredericksburg, Virginia have been sister cities for 30 years and 915 owner Alan Howard is very active in the cultural exchange program.

To commemorate this years event Gallery 915 produced a very special limited edition card set featuring the art of Alan Howard and Tanya Richey.
 
Each French guest was given a set of these cards at the reception.
 
The limited edition set of 2 cards are available at 915 for $12.50.

The Gallery at 915 was a popular Independence Day stop.

 

The Gallery at 915
was open for business
on the 4th of July. 

 Several people stopped in taking advantage of the Gallery being open on the holiday when they had time off from work. 

The Gallery was also a popular place for people to bring out of town guests.

   Saturday May 29th Tanya Richey sat the gallery and Don Haynes hung the fence for the 1st Annual Memorial Day Art Fence.  It was a  novel attraction that garnered a lot of attention.

   Gallery 915 has a steady day and as sunset drew near more and more people arrived at the Gallery on their way up to the Fredericksburg National Cemetery for the Memorial Luminaries.

Visitors looked in on their way to and came in on thier way from the luminary.

  Tanya stayed open until after 11pm making a great first impression with many visitors who have been meaning to stop into 915 but have not been able to find the time yet.  A common theme to remarks was “I’ve been meaning to stop… this is wonderful… I will come back when we have more time”.  

The Gallery at 915 will be open Sunday May 30th and Monday Memorial Day from 11-7. 

The Art Fence will continue through Sunday.
